JACK-O-LANTERN SODA FLOATS
Party punch!!! Never the star of the show but always missed when it’s not there. This Halloween, you can add it to your spread with only two ingredients and a few supplies. Does it get easier than that? You’ll need to use some creativity, too — that’s a must.
This would go perfectly with mummy hot dogs and spidery deviled eggs for a fun and themed layout. Inviting friends over or simply making it for your own household would be equally enjoyable. Everyone is busy with school, sports, work, social life but there’s always room for holiday fun. Take a look at this list of supplies; it’s do-able, I promise.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Clear plastic tumbler cups (6-9oz)
- Fanta orange soda
- Vanilla ice cream
- Black sharpie
CREATIVITY UNLEASHED:
To create the best version of your jack-o-lantern floats, refrigerate your soda hours ahead of using it.
Draw jack-o-lantern faces on your empty cups–happy, sad, spooky, silly pumpkins. Be sure not to get too close to the rim of the cup as you won’t want to put your lips
Add one small scoop of ice cream to each cup. Pour Fanta orange soda into the cups, watching the fill level carefully (the soda and ice cream will create a foamy layer that likes to overflow).
Snip regular bendy straws into mini bendy straws for a fun bling or serve the cups as they are.
Add another easy and fun idea to your list with silly-face fruit cups!
